Anime Review: Naruto
Sorry for the delay on not being able to post on Thursday, I sincerely apologize for any inconveniences that may have been caused and will try my very hardest to not do it again! But relating to the post, we will be reviewing the anime Naruto, which is one of my favourites!
What is anime?:
Anime, in short means an animation made in Japan, nowadays, anime is iconic for the eye and hair styles that is applied onto many anime characters. The reason behind this is because the god of manga (aka Osamu Tezuka) is the creator of the iconic eyes and hair as he used these in his most famous anime and manga work 'Astro Boy'.
What is this anime about (in a nutshell)?:
Naruto was made as a manga about ninjas, as the manga got popular, the manga got an anime adaptation, which is what we will be talking about. Naruto is the main protagonist within this anime, and is looked upon as an outcast as the beast within him had terrorized the village until the 4th Hokage sealed the power within his son, Naruto. From this, Naruto strives to become hokage (leader of his village) someday to prove that he is worthy and worth something, but to do that, Naruto overcomes many challenges throughtout the manga/anime. The main villians of this anime is a group called the 'Akatsuki' which aims to take Naruto's 'Nine Tailed Beast' from within him and use its power for their own. The anime is divided with a 3 year timeskip, with 2 seasons also, the first one being called Naruto Unleashed and the second (my favourite) being Naruto Shippuden.
Is it worth watching, what is the appropriate age to watch this?:
Naruto is worth watching if you like anime that's packed with suspense and also awesome powers the characters have. I would recommened this anime for teens (13+), as the anime includes comical violence, just like Dragonball Z, and the anime itself is pretty hard to understand and would require some knowledge before watching the next episodes.
