Hello guys, it's me again. Sorry for the late post (again), I've been catching up on coursework and had a lot of events and voluntary work that I had to do in real life, but I've posted this, and what a review this will be!

What is anime?:

Anime, in short means an animation made in Japan, nowadays, anime is iconic for the eye and hair styles that is applied onto many anime characters. The reason behind this is because the god of manga (aka Osamu Tezuka) is the creator of the iconic eyes and hair as he used these in his most famous anime and manga work 'Astro Boy'.

What is this anime about (in a nutshell)?:

Pokémon, a classic anime (and an iconic one too). It all starts with protagonist Ash Ketchum who aims to be the best and catch them all. His adventure starts in Pallet Town, and gets his starter Pokémon, Pikachu. Now together, Pikachu and Ash aim to defeat all the gym leaders and become a Pokémon Master!



Is it worth watching, what is the appropriate age to watch this?:

Pokémon is known to almost all people, it isn't even considered anime to most people. I think that this anime is appropriate to people that are 7+ as it does contain violence, but not on a serious level.

Anime Review: Angel Beats

Hello guys, it's me again. Sorry for the late post (again), I've been catching up on coursework and had alot of events and voluntary work that I had to do in real life, but I've posted this, and what a review this will be!

What is anime?:

Anime, in short means an animation made in Japan, nowadays, anime is iconic for the eye and hair styles that is applied onto many anime characters. The reason behind this is because the god of manga (aka Osamu Tezuka) is the creator of the iconic eyes and hair as he used these in his most famous anime and manga work 'Astro Boy'.

What is this anime about (in a nutshell)?:

Angel Beats is about a guy named Yuzuru Otonashi who dies in real life by an accident (which he finds out later, as he has amnesia) within a train ride. He gets transported to a place 'before heaven' and meets a friend names Yuri Nakamura, who aims to defeat the 'guardian of the world' (aka the Student Body President, as the anime is held in a school) named 'Angel'. They later find out that she is named 'Tenshi'. The rest of the anime is basically about them going on missions aiming to defeat 'Angel' and claim possession of the school within the world 'before heaven' (the ending is sad, so if you want to watch it, please have a box of tissues next to you).

Is it worth watching, what is the appropriate age to watch this?:

Angel Beats is a must watch in my opinion, it's filled with all of the elements an anime needs, such as action, romance (kind of, especially at the end), fighting and plenty of suspense! The age recommendation is like all the other animes that I've pretty much posted, about 12-13+ is the age recommendation.

Anime Review: Kotoura-san

Hello guys, I've decided to do another early anime review (since anime is pretty much my love), so without any further ado, lets get this anime review under way!

What is anime?:

Anime, in short means an animation made in Japan, nowadays, anime is iconic for the eye and hair styles that is applied onto many anime characters. The reason behind this is because the god of manga (aka Osamu Tezuka) is the creator of the iconic eyes and hair as he used these in his most famous anime and manga work 'Astro Boy'.

What is this anime about (in a nutshell)?:

Kotoura-san is about a girl who has the ability to read other peoples minds using ESP. The name of this character is, well, Kotoura. She kept moving schools since they were afraid of her and did not like her mainly because of her mind reading powers. She continued to move until she saw someone who cared for her. This character is callled 'Manabe'. The rest of the anime is basically the relationship between these 2 charactes getting stronger, while meeting others on the way.

Is it worth watching, what is the appropriate age to watch this?:

Kotoura-san is indeed worth watching, however, I would recommend it for at least 14 and older, as it does include some 'suggestive' scenes (only about 4, which last for 5 seconds), but the plus side is that it does not include scenes of violence whatsoever.
